Held annually for more than 25 years, the Diamond event is a flagship recognition program that honours the top-performing wholesale distribution partners of BTC’s client top 15 wholesale distribution partners across Mexico.
This high-end incentive experience brings together business owners and their guests who have exceeded annual sales targets, alongside senior company leadership, for an exclusive celebration in a new international destination each year.
In 2025, the event took place across Sydney, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand, marking a milestone edition that combined immersive cultural exploration with seamless luxury. BTC, an INCON Partner and trusted event delivery partner for nearly half of the program’s history, once again demonstrated its capacity to manage high-touch, complex incentive events with precision, creativity, and operational excellence.
Background:
The Diamond event is designed to recognize the company’s highest-performing wholesale partners—business owners who exceeded their annual sales targets for their brands. Each awardee is invited with a guest to enjoy an ultra-premium incentive experience, joined by PepsiCo Mexico Foods’ (PMF) executive leadership. This year’s edition hosted 40 guests, marking a strategic shift toward a more exclusive, high-touch format (compared to 70 participants in China last year and up to 120 in earlier years).
The move reflects a renewed focus on rewarding only those who meet the highest standards—while elevating the overall experience through personalization and quality.
Challenges:
Organizing a luxury program in culturally and geographically distant locations is inherently complex. However, BTC thrives on turning these challenges into opportunities to deliver excellence.
This year’s key challenges included:
Tight Flight Connection Risks: One of the most pressing concerns involved the international flight itinerary. The group’s outbound journey from Mexico to Australia included a connection at San Francisco International Airport (MEX–SFO–SYD), where a narrow transfer window posed a significant risk of missed flights. Given the high stakes of the program and the importance of maintaining the guest experience from the very first touchpoint, any delay could have disrupted the tightly coordinated schedule.
Complex Visa Requirements: Another critical hurdle was managing Australia’s stringent visa process for Mexican citizens. The application process required extensive documentation, long lead times, and close coordination with embassies which are all factors that could jeopardize individual participation if not handled proactively and personally.

Flight Coordination: BTC’s air operations team, in collaboration with strategic contacts at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), arranged special handling for the group, ensuring a smooth transition and preventing missed connections.
Visa Management: We partnered with a specialized visa facilitator, offering personalized support to guide each participant through the process, ensuring 100% compliance and timely approvals.
