INCON Explores Seoul on a Four-Day FAM Trip with the Seoul Tourism Organization

INCON representatives recently travelled to Seoul for a four-day FAM Trip organised in collaboration with the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO), exploring the city’s diverse MICE offering, from world-class convention centres and hotels to unique cultural venues and experiences.

The programme offered an opportunity to experience Seoul first-hand, meet local industry partners and discover the range of facilities and experiences available for international meetings, conferences and events.

Day 1 – Arriving in Seoul

The trip began with arrivals in Seoul and a warm welcome at The Westin Seoul Parnas, followed by a meeting with the Seoul Tourism Organization team. The day concluded with a traditional Korean dinner at Yeouido Samgyetang, giving the group its first taste of Seoul’s hospitality and cuisine.

The day ended at Floating Island Convention, a distinctive venue offering an impressive setting for events alongside the Han River.

Day 3 – Culture Meets Meetings

Day three showcased Seoul’s ability to combine modern event facilities with Korean culture and heritage.

The group visited COEX Magok and Mercure Ambassador Seoul Magok, before continuing to The Shilla Seoul, including Yeong Bin Gwan and Shilla Duty Free.

The afternoon brought a more cultural perspective with a tea experience and performance at Korea House, followed by dinner at Samcheonggak, another unique venue surrounded by Seoul’s natural landscape.

Day 4 – Iconic Seoul & Memorable Experiences

The final day brought together hospitality, entertainment and some of Seoul’s most recognisable landmarks.

The group visited Pullman Ambassador Seoul Eastpole, Grand Walkerhill Seoul and Theatre des Lumières, before heading to Seoul Sky for lunch and an afternoon experience overlooking the city.

The trip concluded with a visit and dinner at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, before the group explored Seongsu-dong, one of Seoul’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, on the final day.

Across four days, the FAM Trip highlighted Seoul’s unique combination of modern infrastructure, world-class hospitality, cultural experiences and distinctive event venues, offering valuable insights into the destination’s potential for international business events.

INCON would like to thank the Seoul Tourism Organization and all of the venues and partners who welcomed the group and contributed to an inspiring and memorable visit.
