2016 was a record year for ORTRA not only in the number of congresses we organized throughout the year, but also in establishing a new peak season for congresses -  November.

During 2016 ORTRA organized a record number of International congresses, meetings & events in Israel with 15 of the total 75 congresses taking place during the month of November alone. 2016 marks the third year in a row that November has peaked in PCO activities with the 2017 forecast predicted to be the same.

    So why November?

    • When organizing a congress in Israel, we take into consideration all religious holidays from three different religions; Judaism, Christianity & Islam. Avoiding summer holidays and Jewish holidays, congresses tend to also congregate during February and November.
    • Many corporations in Israel tend to invest their marketing and promotional budgets towards the second half of the year, allowing more flexibility for budgets planned a year ahead.
    • Finally, the weather in Israel is fabulous during November, usually no rain, which allows outdoor events and a fair temperature.
