The Las Vegas Convention Center comprises 2 million square feet of exhibit space and 144 meeting rooms with capacities up to 2,500. With more than 148,000 hotel rooms close by and a staff adept at hosting groups of all sizes and descriptions, the Las Vegas Convention Center is one of the world's premier convention venues. In 2009, the convention center hosted more than 85 meetings, conventions and trade shows attended by approximately 1.4 million delegates. This generated approximately $2 billion for the local economy.  Events held in Las Vegas regularly enjoy increased attendance, due in part to the unparalleled dining and entertainment available.
